In a truly eye-catching design, Banker Wire’s Architectural Wire Mesh pattern S-50 commands attention as a brass wire mesh ceiling tile installation inside the lobby of NH Collection Copenhagen. The waterfront hotel in København, Denmark, resides in a building built as shipyard headquarters in the 1950s. In renovating the new five-star hotel, Arkitema Architects stayed true to the building’s historical environment. Architects incorporated ship-inspired elements into the redesign while crafting a warm and welcoming atmosphere with rich wood tones, warm-colored fabrics, and shining brass.

Ecoustic Sculpt™ Ceiling Tile - Ridge derives it’s name and shape from the drifting patterns of desert sand. Each of the 10 profiles are cut with a smooth curve that moves outward to opposing corners of the tile. Each curve continues to flow into the neighboring tile and evokes a soft sense of movement through space. When installed in a mirrored array with multiple Ridge tiles next to one another, the shallow corners align to create larger circular motifs. The Sculpt™ ‘Add + Subtract’ design evolved from creating a positive form from a negative extraction. The individual profiles are similar to an architectural battlement that are found in the shielding walls and towers of medieval castles. The profile utilizes equally spaced intervals so when installed as a collection of four tiles they create a square formation moving in and out. Archiepiscopal Vocational College in Cologne
The Erzbischöfliche Berufskolleg (Archbishop's Vocational College) in Cologne, completed in 2016, is one of the most impressive new educational buildings of recent times in North Rhine-Westphalia. The teaching and learning concepts are as interesting as the interior design and the dimensions of the complex. For this project, Knauf Ceiling Solutions delivered nearly 8,000m² of HERADESIGN® Superfine A2 wood wool panels.
The vocation school, according to its own figures, educates around 1,100 youths for a variety of vocations in the social and healthcare sectors. The acoustics in the shopping mall is ensured by the Vista ceiling solution which is installed in a double grid system requiring no cross runners. The ceiling design thus underlines the directional design of the long shopping alleys of the mall.
Visona ceiling tiles are perforated with Tangent oval perforations which provide excellent sound absorption, ensuring a calm, relaxed atmosphere for the Finnish shoppers.
