Rising 27 stories, Harwood International’s stunning trophy tower is the neighborhood’s tallest building. Designed in collaboration with Japanese architect Kengo Kuma & Associates, Corgan also served as the architect of record to carry out the vision and aesthetics of the 725,000-square-foot luxury high-rise office tower.

The façade‘s curtain wall system of white curvilinear fins and tinted glass cascades down the exterior like draped fabric, shading and softening the bright sun while framing picturesque views of the skyline. Heavily influenced by nature, the biophilic design brings the outside indoors. Ultra‑clear half‑inch glazing encloses the ground floor lobby as stone pathways and contiguous pocket gardens spill into the light airy space.

Taking advantage of a 25-foot elevated slope, stereometric carved stone appears to grow out of the earth and border the glass perimeter. A stacked stone custom reception desk greets pedestrians as they traverse the plaza and lobby toward a broad monumental stair where three Samurai warriors descend on horseback. Marble slabs on interior walls glisten and showcase the space’s art and natural beauty.
