The client, founder of a clothing brand, entrusted us with the mission to transform her boutique into a fashion destination in Moncton, New Brunswick. The brief focused on a minimalist design using natural materials and textures, along with warm tones, to create a calming space that highlights the clothing and products.

The space presented significant challenges. Industrial concrete columns were discreetly integrated into the design to maintain a clean ambiance. Plumbing and ventilation elements in the ceiling, difficult to conceal in a minimalist setting, were hidden using ceiling drops and visual techniques, allowing for a focus on the products.

To enhance the organic character of the project, curved elements were incorporated throughout the space. Arches, alcoves, podiums, cabinetry, and furniture blend harmoniously, contrasting with the rectangular forms of the built environment. This approach softens the lines and enriches the overall aesthetic of the design.

We also designed a discreet yet inspiring office area for the client. Though hidden, this space provides a stimulating and comfortable atmosphere, promoting concentration and creativity within a warm setting.

The centerpiece of the boutique is the imposing Corian checkout island, positioned at the center of the space. Its monolithic form with rounded corners creates a natural focal point, adding a pleasant tactile dimension to the customer experience.

The lounge area, strategically placed between the fitting rooms and the men's section, offers a comfortable and visually expansive space. Facing a large mirror, it creates an impressive effect of space duplication, enhancing the boutique's fluidity and elegance. The furniture, with its organic shapes, seamlessly integrates into the concept, enriching the overall design harmony.

Bronze metal, used primarily behind the checkout and on the elegant floating vertical panels behind the mannequins in the windows, adds a touch of elegance and contrast to the lighter tones of the space. This material creates a backdrop that highlights the clothing from the outside while preserving natural light.

The meticulous finishes, perfectly proportioned curves, and thoughtful lighting ensure optimal product visibility and a refined atmosphere. These elements work together to create a space where every detail is highlighted, offering a soft, elegant, and welcoming ambiance that enhances the customer experience and underscores the distinctive character of the displayed products.
